Rafael Moreno: Raised in Nevada, Rafael has been in the electrical, controls, and instrumentation industry for 17 years. Rafael studied electrical and instrumentation education programs at the Great basin College in Elko Nevada and has been highly involved in the trades ever since. Rafael also has several industrial certifications and obtained an M.B.A. over the course of his career. From working in mining, residential, petrochemical, commercial, to power generation, Rafael has steadily worked diligently to mold his reputation to be a safe, trustworthy, productive, and motivated professional.

Rafael has been the main technical driving force in developing RMEIC and working to continuously develop all RMEIC’s technical business operations and the overall safety and environmental program management. Rafael is highly motivated to satisfy all RMEIC’s customers and to meet their business and operational needs. Rafael is not afraid to get his hands dirty in the field, directly work with the challenges encountered, and is always willing to push to turn equipment around when the call of duty strikes.

RMEIC leadership places safety as our top core beliefs in how business is executed. Heavily involved in technically complex and sensitive plants and processes, we understand our role in safety & environmental risk management, and we have developed as well as adopted several best practices and work standards in ensuring we keep everyone safe. RMEIC daily practices and maintains a strong safety culture by daily meetings/toolbox talks, job hazard analysis processes, fun worker participation programs and activities, and with our own safety programs and procedures. We at RMEIC work closely with our own workforce, other contractors, and our customers to maintain a healthy and safe working environment.

We also strive to educate ourselves on environmental hazard management, utilizing tools & equipment safely, housekeeping, equipment certified training/operation, and special processes or workplace hazards. Due to the nature of electrical, controls, and instrumentation hazards, RMEIC always maintains a strong leadership/mentoring influence at every jobsite and works with our more entry level professionals to keep them safe. Our workforce is the lifeblood of the company and we at RMEIC will do everything possible to ensure everyone goes home safely and healthy.

Electrical, control system, and controls work poses many hazards and challenges. A single mistake or oversight in the field could prove costly or hazardous for everyone. With these challenges in mind, RMEIC assures their customers how serious and passionate we are about our work and the quality of our work is one of the upmost priorities. RMEIC has several work processes constantly being reviewed and improved to ensure a safe and top-quality installation or maintenance turnaround. We perform many services and checks; as an example, we ensure that each cable we installed is tested & to the correct homerun, connected & torqued properly, all electrical apparatus and equipment is comprehensively evaluated, all instrument sensing lines properly checked, and much more.

We review all electrical distribution and switching requirements very carefully and adhere to the National Electrical Code, Instrument Society of America, and all customer requirements and regulations. We understand how critical the checks needed for all phases of construction and maintenance and will not tolerate a failure due to a simple check missed. RMEIC’s field managers and journeymen are trained to ensure their work results are of the highest quality and standards possible as well as double-triple checking all installations.
